iPhone 6 Doesn't Display During Normal Use

Received a iPhone 6 from one of our customers, according to his description, the device was working well and no any dropping or other damages. When he uses it like before, the iPhone screen suddenly doesn't display anything. What is the problem? Let's read in article.

1. Check iPhone 6 schematic diagram on WUXINJI Dongle, and then we know the iPhone 6 display socket circuit diagram.
 


2. Use Fluke15B+ Digital Multimeter to measure the diode data of iPhone display touch socket, finding the 26 pin circuit is shorted; The display screen is positive 5.7V.

3. By reading iPhone schematic diagram, we know that this circuit is output by iPhone displaytouch IC, there are 6 filter capacitors on this circuit line.

4. Based on previous repair experience, we judged that the filter capacitors are damaged. Put iPhone motherboard under the Phone Repair 7-45X Trinocular Stereo Microscope, and then remove the filter capacitors one by one, when breaking into the third filter capacitor, the data measured is normal.
 


5. Install the iPhone, and then press iPhone power button to turn it on, the Apple logo appears on iPhone display screen smoothly. After get into IOS, the iPhone screen is always displaying normally.

Solution: Why iPhone X Voltage Keeps Jumping

After getting the iPhone X motherboard to test, we observe the current value repeatedly jumps between 0mA and 50mA on DC power supply , and it is different from the normal booting current. iPhone 6 Display Failure after Replacing LCD

The iPhone 6 display is black after replacing LCD. After checking, the diode data of display socket is normal and all power supply for iPhone display IC  output is normal. Testing by  DC power supply , we find the iPhone current is abnormal. When press the iPhone power button, the boot current is obviously large. The current reached 100mA when press the power button. After remove the display tube, the current still the same, which means there is a short circuit. Measure the voltage output of each circuit of power supply with Fluke 15B+ Digital Multimeter , then surprised to find that there are really short circuit places. LD010 is short circuit; we suspect that the filter capacitance on the circuit has been penetrated. After remove the iPhone power control IC , we found it is ground short circuit.
