Solution: iPhone 6S Recording Function Problem


We are going to repair an iPhone 6S motherboard, the customer mentioned that the the problem is that there was a noise when the iPhone was recording, the quality of the recording sound is bad. This iPhone motherboard was repaired once, now we are going to repair it.


Customers say there's a noise when the iPhone is recorded. First, we need to install an iPhone motherboard to check if there's a problem with the external configuration of the iPhone. After testing, the failure of iPhone is exactly what the customer described.

According to our maintenance experience, this is usually caused by the J4600 plug in the rear of the iPhone or the U3500 audio on the iPhone. Usually, when faced with this problem, we can take the sponge out of the rear plug socket J4600 of the iPhone and look at the capacitance resistance inductance below. We can observe it under the Trinocular Integrated Microscope.


After removing the sponge, we found the FL4601 and FL4611 resistor fall off, these 2 resistors will affect tail plug recording and causes murmur.


Use QUICK 861DW hot air rework station to short connect FL4606 and FL4611. After short connection, assemble the iPhone and test it, the fault has been repaired!

iPhone 6 Display Failure after Replacing LCD

The iPhone 6 display is black after replacing LCD. After checking, the diode data of display socket is normal and all power supply for iPhone display IC  output is normal. Testing by  DC power supply , we find the iPhone current is abnormal. When press the iPhone power button, the boot current is obviously large. The current reached 100mA when press the power button. Solution: Why iPhone X Voltage Keeps Jumping

After getting the iPhone X motherboard to test, we observe the current value repeatedly jumps between 0mA and 50mA on DC power supply , and it is different from the normal booting current. Next, test whether the power supply of every circuit is normal. PP_VDD_MAIN is measured 4.2V; PP_VDD_BOOST measured is 4.2V. PP1V8-ALWAYS is 1.8V, all the values are normal. But when testing PP1V1_S2, PP0V8_SOC_FIXED_S1, PP1V8_S2 and other circuit voltage that output by power chip U2700 voltage are jumping constantly. According to previous experience, voltage jump is usually caused by a power supply circuit of U2700 output. Measured with digital multimeter , there is no short circuit was found for the dipole value of all power supply to ground. Solution: iPhone 6 Signal Has No Service

We are going to fix an iPhone 6 device today, the iPhone 6 signal keeps searching state after booting, there is no baseband in local setting, and no series number shows up when dialing *#06# serial number. We find the iPhone 6 LCD (has been replaced once, this kind of situation is preliminary determined for baseband CPU false welding, it is relatively common situation on iPhone 6 and iPhone 6P.
